History of Orient Watch

Who is Orient Watch?

"Orient Watch has always focused on mechanical watches, primarily self-operating watches with its own in-house self-operating movements Orient was once part of the "Big Three" watch fellowships in Japan along with habitancy and Seiko. In the 70s, when mechanical watch fellowships faced hardship from the mass introduction of reasonable quartz watches, habitancy and Seiko took the path of mass producing quartz watches, Orient stuck with what it did best, production mechanical watches."

In those early watch production days, Orient Watch had some competition in the watch commerce at home. Seiko and habitancy were big names in the watch production industry, and for many years Orient was ranked amount three when it came to watch companies.

Mechanical Watches
