The history of the Seiko watch business goes back to 1881 when Kintaro Hattori opened a jewelry shop in Tokyo. Hattori started a business over a hundred years ago that is now one of the largest watch manufacturers in the world. every person has heard of Seiko and every person knows that if they buy a Seiko they will get a great seeing trustworthy timepiece.
In 1892 Hattori began manufacture clocks under the name of Seikosha. Seiko has received many distinctions together with being the legal timepiece for the Olympics.
